Helen Leland opened her home to Louise Rakers of Nordic Cooking for an 11 course Nordic x Mexican fusion tasting menu. Helen’s Hacienda was a creative collaboration between Louise, myself, and Alicia Silva Flores of Jardin Bonita.
Alicia inspired both the 11 course fusion menu and the tablescape, consisting of all edible elements native to Mexico. As well as a chef, Alicia is a local flower farmer. All floral used for this project was locally grown.
